You say that, however the Trump administration is the first in decades to work on reforming housing lending, and people on average gained an additional $2,800 thanks to his tax cuts. His tax cut also gave additional funds per child.

While gaining a new job and your own fiscal responsibility are obviously are due on your part, the current administration still did help you behind the scenes even if you didn't notice or appreciate it.

Under Biden you will pay an additional $1000 / kid if you're middle class at the very least.

Because life having improved doesn't necessarily change someone's vote at all.

For instance, my life improved a lot during the Obama administration. I got a great job, many things in my life improved, I was considerably better off in 2016 than in 2008.

And yet, it didn't make me considering voting Democratic, not at all. Why should I?
