Each age group has challenges, and while you're in each phase, it is the worst.
I have a 13 yr old daughter and 10 yr old son.
13 is the absolute worse so far and I know it'll get worse before it gets better. My once sweet, smart, caring little girl is not that anymore. They just keep getting more expensive and less appreciative.
My 10 yr old son is great! It's a struggle to get him to focus on homework, but it is getting better. He still thinks I'm fun to be around. He enjoys watching football and movies with me, wants to do stuff just like his dad. I hope this phase lasts a while.
