I have a spirited toddler who is pitching 30 minute tantrums over nothing and still needs a lot of direction, so this phase is definitely exhausting in its own way. I feel like if we had #2, the infant stage would be a piece of cake - so much of what makes it hard is just learning OTJ.
On the other hand, I've worried about the teenage years since before she was born.
