Ah okay. Yeah I was wondering why so many were mourning the loss of the current gen "Americanized" Land Cruiser. It's basically a Z71 Tahoe or Suburban. It's often driven by the same type of people too.

What I'd really like is the previous gen Defender (UK Market). They rusted like crazy, but they were simple enough that you could fix with fairly basic tools. Similar to a 70 series Toyota Land Cruiser. American safety regulations make those trucks impossible to buy over here.

It's history. Those trucks that built that reputation haven't been available in the US for a long, long time. Those aren't being lost in 2021, they were lost decades back.
