We fish there a good bit. It can be a tough place. We slay them one time then hardly catch any the next

I've kayaked and boated there multiple times. Every time i boat its damn near a skunk.
I caught 1 rat red, a seagull, and a handful of school trout under the gulls today.
Is it worth hiring a guide for that area? The best I have ever done out there is 3 barely slot reds in the spring two trips in a row...
