Pit Bull Lab Mix.
Definitely has the capability and energy to run with me, but she is stubborn. She'll run for about a quarter mile but then wants to explore.
She is a very curious dog. She lived with my father in law for the first 5 years of her life and had about 200 acres on which she roamed. She listens fine, but she definitely has her own will.

Monday November 2nd, 2020
Morning Weight: 190.2 lbs
Workout
Run: 2 Miles @ 8:49 Pace
Stretch: At Park -- Light Stretch and Walk
Run: 1.59 Miles @ 8:41 Pace
Notes
I wasn't trying to go fast or break any PRs, I just wanted to get out and get moving for the day. It was beautiful, albeit a bit cold, but it felt nice to listen to a podcast and leisurely run to the park. I came back the same way, catching my breath before starting to run back home.
Diet
Breakfast: 2 eggs, 3 strips turkey bacon, coffee w/ creamer and sugar
Snack: Gala Apple, Banana w/ PB, Hard-Boiled egg, Orange Powerade
Lunch: Salad Mix w/ bell pepper, tomato, cucumber, feta cheese, italian dressing, sunflower kernels
Snack: Bourbon
Dinner: Red beans and rice, Milk
Dessert: None
Notes
Pretty good day. Had a drink there in the afternoon while I was reading. I boiled some eggs to put in some tuna later today. That should be a more protein rich snack.
Other Notes
Well, just as I finished up my journal post yesterday about the Amazon job, the other company for whom I really want to work called me and offered me the position. I start Wednesday. It's a 3-11am shift, M-F, so not quite overnight, but still an adjustment, and it pays a bit better than Amazon, especially considering the shift differential. I am pretty excited about it. I'll be training on the day shift until I get my bearings and then I'll switch to that early shift. So I have time to figure out the best method. My wife is WFH and can start whenever she pleases, so we may end up just getting in bed an hour or so earlier and when I head off to work she will start her work. It will suck getting up and getting go that early, but it will be nice to be done with work by noon and have the option to do whatever. This situation is also why I drank, in celebration. Also, I'd like to not feel any effects of alcohol on my first day.
I've got about 100 pages left in Good Bones. It's really heating up.
That's about it. My plan was to go on a 15 mile bike ride today, but I'm thinking it may be wise to get ahead on schoolwork so I can focus on work the rest of the week.
Hope everyone has a good one!
