This is a reflection of the status of the team as they relate to each other. The fact that some players refused to respect the views of other players even though those views were not specifically directed to them and were not in opposition to their own are indicative of a fractured locker room. They can all say the right things but this team has not been the same. I would bet there is sentiment in support of Brees by some objective black players. Its appalling when Thomas can say Brees can give his money , but if he doesn't say what we want him to say then he is not with us.

They demand that he not just SAY the right things but he must also now ‘PROVE’ that he’s learned his lesson. That he will never dare to speak truthfully & give his honest opinion about something, even when asked directly for said opinion, w/o first running it by a Racially Biased WOKE expert!
Of course all that above could be condensed into a much simpler statement. Something along the lines of:
Brees is white & wealthy so hes dripping with WHITE PRIVILEGE & therefore should know that a White Man isn’t allowed to be proud of his race, Country nor his Country’s FLAG! If he is & dares to admit it I publicly well - HES A RACIST !
