Democratic Republican

The original party formed to fight the Federalist who wanted a few rich men to own the country. Sadly Henry Clay who started out as a Democratic Republican from good stock changed his tune when his mother's 2nd marriage was to a landed lord and his transformation was complete when he married money as well.

He and other Democratic Republicans who obtained vast wealth changed their tune and split the Democratic Republican Party to join the Federalists and form the Whigs.

As to policy ...

I believe in Scottish bankers when it comes to monetary policy

+ Limited Debt
+ Strong Trade
+ Hard assets in Agriculture, Manufacturing, and Technology
(not exporting factories or crops to Asia because Wall Street wants it)

I believe in capitalism but with a human element
+ Greed is not good for a society to sustain itself long term
+ Local and regional ownership over absentee landlords (foreign and domestic)
+ Public trusts (1/3 business, 1/3 government, 1/3 citizens) for essential services
(water / electricity / gas / etc of utilities for people to live)
+ Bring back the WPA for employing and training American Citizens

I believe in separation of Church & State. If a church owns a church, it is tax exempt but if they own a McDonald's they pay taxes. If they preach the good book from the pulpit they are tax exempt. If they preach politics, they pay taxes. If the minister lives a moderate and humble life doing the Lord's work they are tax exempt. If they live in a 20 million dollar house and do not offer shelter to natural disaster survivors they pay taxes (and possibly serve some jail time).

I believe in education and development of independent thought. We need scientists (college) and we needs plumbers (trade schools) and all work is important, no job is "beneath" someone. That is why Europe was in shambles from a monarchy where you had a small population with immense work and no work ethic.

I believe when you graduate high school you must spend 2 years in public service before citizenship is granted and you get the right to vote.
2 year in military service
OR
2 years in Peace Corps like service
OR
2 years in Americorps like service
OR
2 years in government service
