Well, I have said REPEATEDLY that Trump did not intend anything racist with his oft-maligned Charlottesville statement. I just think it was tone-deaf.

Likewise, I have never criticized him as seeking the idiotic Wall for racist reasons. I just think it is a stupid idea, both financially and ideologically.

If you have some other Trump statement in mind as to which you think I will attribute ill-intent, I would be quite willing to give you my thoughts on that as well.

In short, I don't think Trump is evil. I even agree with him on many issues. I just decline to worship his every utterance, and I am QUITE willing to criticize where I am not in agreement.
