I saw the body Cam footage when it came out. That guy was as good as caught the second the wife’s friend showed up. I think he’d have taken some time later that day to ditch her car and some luggage if he had time.
The look on that man’s face when he saw the neighbor’s camera footage was pretty chilling. It was clearly the heat of passion; a bigger monster would have planned it out better and would have never confessed.
If your spouse is missing, you are a suspect and every inch of your life will be investigated. This guy didn’t stand up to even cursory scrutiny. He underestimated the cops, and he definitely didn’t count on the wife’s friend checking up on her by lunch time the day off.

Absolutely. Seemed to me that it couldn't have been planned - or at least not very well. I think he got into a fight with his batshit crazy wife, lost his shite and killed her - and then panicked. It was a complete shitshow.

my wife and i watched it Friday night. No excuses for what he did. Even my wife commented how much she put her life on social media. I do think the indecent with the grandparent and a cookie with a food allergy was taken way too far; was it an honest mistake? But i did have two points/questions.
At the beginning she said she worked her tail off and built he first house at 25 alone, what in the hell was she doing, or was it a first time homeowner's special?
The girlfriend to me looked a lot lot his wife. but the police department kept on referring to her as his hot new girlfriend. I guess she was not as crazy as the wife?
