My company offers BC/BS. Family coverage for salaried employees is just over $600 per month. My wife though works at the school in our hometown. Healthcare there is BC/BS PHIP plan which is a much better plan than the one offered by my company. The monthly cost for her plan is $300 per month. Needless to say we’re on her plan. In fact that and her pension plan are really the only reasons she works.

You do understand that just like the teacher a few posts above yours, that your plan is so competitive because taxpayers contribute the rest through taxes to pay for your insurance?
