We pay $150/month for a family plan with BCBS. I think our deductible is $500, but most everything is covered with a $30 copay.

One perk of a teacher salary.

That's excellent. I hope they don't fall into the greed trap and start going cheap on you. My employer provides a PPE $20 copay plan for the family at twice that amount. And trust me, we use the shite out of insurance.

My gripe with my employer isn't with insurance as much as it is they put a "temporary" freeze on matching contributions to 401(K). That's the one that has me pissed off.
