Rpo shouldn’t need a qb to move much at all or go through a lot of progressions. It has to be a quick pass due to the oline run blocking. If you hold it too long you have a chance for oline to be downfield. Qb has to make a read on the lbers and cbs to see how tight and if there is room for the slant. Msu made a lot of last second movement to make that hard. Plus we really didn’t run a ton of rpo last year. What was it 7% of offensive plays.

I agree, I’m just saying his comfort in the pocket and making reads seems to be off. Even though it’s a quick read, it needs to be decisive. Hopefully, we can just establish a run game to set up the pass.
