None of those teams or stadiums or experiences are relevant. Big Ten is nowhere near what it used to be or what its cracked up to be.
I'm not making excuses for the Mississippi State game, but we literally lost 95% of our starters from the best team ever assembled. Had limited practice time, and completely switched defensive coaches and moved our scheme from a 3-4 to 4-3. The least any team has ever returned after a national championship was Auburn with 8 starters coming back the next season. Our starting RT Deculus, JaCoby Stevens and WR Marshall may have been the only returning starters playing from last year's team against Miss State. No excuse, but I understand some of the circumstances that are surrounding the game. Literally had no tuneups and only had 2 scrimmages to really test out concepts and work on gameplans. And the throws and schemes were there Brennan just needs to grow and throw the ball and get comfortable, we left a ton and I do mean a ton of points on the board. Could have been LSU 56 - 44.
If you ever compare Penn State and Wisconsin to stepping into a game at Auburn or Alabama or now Texas A&M and Florida. Have you seriously lost your mind? We would go to Penn State in a heartbeat. Have some heaters on the benches and be fine. Step foot into the Swamp on a 97-degree day with 80% humidity. I'm done having this argument with you Big Ten fanatics. The conference and the stadium experiences are nowhere near the SEC and all the teams I mentioned I hated with a passion, but I will gladly defend them knowing that the SEC is the greatest conference in the world.

Most of OSU key players are from warm weather states so dont throw the heat thing at out . OSU WR's are all mostly from Fla,California ,Texas and couple of Ohio sprinkled in . Elliott is from missouri ,Dobbins from Texas . ...Lets just cut back to the point ..OSU got robbed last yr and that beat down LSU laid on Clemson was karma for the gift they were given to even playing in the NC
