Might get a lot of hate for this one, but that second photo requires Brennan to either climb the pocket OR dip around the defender and throw on the run and hit Terrace before the linebacker bears down on him.

And I just don't think he can do that.

Joe could do it in half a second with smaller hands and a weaker arm. Brennan looks slow and sorta unwieldy with the ball. It seems like he needs a perfect pocket and the play can't break down or he's just going to throw it away.
