re: What’s with the “LSU Stadium” sign on Airline Hwy at Highland Road 15 miles from campus?

Burbank didn't exist. Even if it did, you can see the stadium and are on campus at that point. The sign was probably removed or deemed useless.

Fun fact, burbank was built to be a loop in BR. Burbank, Siegen/Sherwood, Florida Blvd, then an undetermined route through the Garden District.

Residents of the Garden District shut it down.

Like the sign on Airline

The current sign isn’t 45 years old so it’s been replaced and should have been deemed useless to save the $1 million it cost the parish to put up

That doesn’t make a lick of fricking sense. Loop through the Garden District?
