I remember Derland from my childhood days of watching Saints games. I recall seeing him at the 2018 Saints-Falcons Thanksgiving game in the Dome. He was being honored for his Saints HOF induction. They gave him a pre-game recognition directly in front of our section of the Plaza. Saints legend.
