Extremely underrated.

He had a construction company on the Northshore, I think.

Met him a few times. Definitely a Saints all-time great.

When I met him he was working over here at Fort Knox storage in Mandeville. When I would go into the office to pay my bill would always talk Saints and LSU with him. Talked about his days at Oklahoma and the Saints and some off the field stuff too. Seemed like a good guy. But like some in that generation, don't want to go to the doctor when stuff happens and that is what may have been his downfall.

Had an uncle that had high blood pressure and refused to go to the doctor. He passed out at Sears in Slidell and then died. If he were on medication he may still be alive. Sad.
