I think because we took God out of everything... We also quit disciplining our kids.. All of a sudden spanking was bad and "Time Out" was the thing. We have more divorce.
We got to the point that Drag Queens reading to our kids is OK. And Sex with children is acceptable.
But mostly because political leaders are OK with this going on because they hate Trump.. and are using this as a tool to gain power... In this case.. The narrative is. "This is Trumps America"

and also because the some courts in some cities are giving these out.
