Right, but what’s the point of protected crossovers for 5 years? It’s a rediculous idea if they are scheduled based on ratings. If it’s on talent, makes some sense. Who the hell wants to watch Iowa play Rutgers for the next 5 years?

The schedules are set by the league...dates and matchups. TV does have a cascade for what games are played morning, afternoon, and evening, but the league has control over the important stuff. It's systematic, nonbiased...as it should be.
