If the Democrats had spent the last 4 years acting like adults, if they had not spent the last year intentionally trying to destroy the economy and actively hoping for as many Covid deaths as possible, of they had not been intentionally trying to start a race war/celebrate dead criminals/actively encourage anarchy, then I might say “ you know what, let’s wait till after the election”.

But they have done all of those things and more. So screw them. Trump should shove a conservative nominee right up their a-hole and the Senate should confirm without hesitation.
