Good lord.
It can't be more obvious.
Who would've ever seen this movie.
The more obscure, the better for Tarantino to lift stories. The only reason he probably didn't lift from 70's porn movies is that they were probably too mainstream.
But it makes sense for a guy who had no formal film training but just watched a ton of movies and a lot of them obscure movies. So he learned on the job but started out just borrowing techniques.
