Sounds like a standard Saints' contract where the first 2 years and signing bonus are guaranteed, but then we can split after that when the money gets high and the production slips.
And if the production doesn't slip he gets an extension to lower his hit. Rinse and repeat.

The over emotional Nancy's never look at the guaranteed money.
Sign AK to a 150 mil contract but if it's only 34 mil guaranteed over 5 years it's still a good contract for the team.
