First off, you don’t want a 338 LM based on a Rem 700 action. It is not a really good option. There are some out there, but the better and more accurate guns are built on stronger actions with bolts made for the really heavy magnums.
I would recommend RW Snyder at Snyder custom guns from Iowa. LINK /. He is known for very fair prices and bug hole groups. I have a 6mm Dasher that shoots well under 1/2 moa. Price was very, very fair.
