We haven't been to vegas and not really interested in doing vegas type things in general (in the city i mean). looking at the map, flying there and hitting the hoover dam did cross my mind, though...

also, not dead set on south to north through that route. could do something like denver up to the badlands then across wyoming then up through idaho. That would show my boys some mountians for sure!
