Beautiful area and inn is wonderful. Course Has some serious elevation changes. I’m a horrible golfer so I gave up quickly, but my buddies really enjoyed it while I drank beer and enjoyed the scenery.

Played 4.5 years ago when my wife and I went up there.
It rained the day before and the course was pretty moist when I played but it was still such a great layout and experience.
Like they said above, elevation changes Throughout the course.
I don’t recall playing that well but I did luck out and make a 35 foot birdie putt on the 18th green in clear view of a bunch of gawkers at the clubhouse and parking lot. They probably thought I knew what the frick I was doing.

Linville golf club is really nice! Trevino design that was once a private club if I remember right.

My buddy who takes us to his place every now and then says the Champion Hills Golf Course is now the best in the area and its daily fee!
