The irony is all that EBT money ends up right back in the hands of corporate America too, from Walmart to the big Ag companies.
It's always the middle class that gets squeezed in all this.
I would like to see it go away from EBT and buying whatever processed crap at the grocery store to only being able to buy real food like meat, poultry, eggs, fruits, vegetables, etc. The whole point is so people don't starve, no reason that crap like pizza rolls are eligible. Oh, but there it is. Then some big food processing conglomerate wouldn't be in on the money train.
Everybody wins except the middle class. Just keeps getting squeezed.
