I agree the prices should reflect on initial search.

I'm actually waking up in an Air B-N-B right now. We had a nice time for a quick lille weekend get away. I typically dont use Air BnB but my SIL found it and we staying here with them.

2 times I have found listings on Homeaway or VRBO that were owned by an individual and not a property management group. I emailed them directly and asked if we could set up a deal outside of the website and they did. I paid cash straight to the owner for a reduced rate and left cash (less than what's on VRBO for that listing) for the cleaning fee. Basically it saved us me from having to pay the taxes.
