This is the correct take.
I would have had no issue had he done this months ago. He didn’t just wake up last week and realize he’s a lock top 5-10 pick. So hiding behind “it was a common sense decision” is a bit of a cop out. Especially when you were just quoted fairly recently about how bad your son wanted to play.

The BR media pushing this mainly doing damage control, and Jimmy Chase didn’t do himself any favors in that interview.
