Themes for a Galaxy phone

If I purchase a theme for a Galaxy is it possible to only use certain aspects of the theme? Keeping the existing ringtone and wallpaper?

Man I dearly miss Galaxy Themes. I switched to a Google Pixel and themes is one reason I'm considering switching back. I was shocked to find out Google does not have a comparable theme service.
