Here you go slick... and yes, it has to do with Chase and any high profile player that decides to opt out. Especially those that repeatedly stated the weren't opting this year.

Why are they opting out??

Is it because of the unknown long term effects of COVID19??

Is it as a protest to social injustice??

Because if its COVID19, can't you still catch that as an NFL player (rhetorical question)??

If it's to protest social injustice, why don't the millionaire pro athletes opt out for the remainder of there sports year??

Why are they helping fund change thru education or some other means??

Chase won’t be playing NFL football this season either. Neither will any of the college opt outs

Chase isn’t a millionaire pro athlete. None of these guys are

again we are talking about broke college kids in this thread so I think you are confused at what you are trying to argue

The answer to your question is that each person is making their own decision independently of the others making the same kind of decision, so stop trying to put a blanket over all of their reasons for choosing not to play

Chase has nothing to play for. His stock is as high as it can be and he can never match the success and production he had last year on a historic run

Could also be that this isn't going to be a "real" CFB season. PAC opted out, B1G can't make up its mind, no fans, players free to opt out and come back next year, conference only schedule, and the ever present possibility of games being disrupted by Ron outbreaks.

Why risk injury for that?
