You can use a Tiagra 30W for pretty much anything. May be a tad out of your price range with a rod though and overkill for snapper
Shimano TLD 30 would be on your budget and should handle what you want too

Can you cast those? Main thing that impressed me about the 25's is that I can (poorly) cast them a pretty good ways
