Dang, I didn't even know he was still alive. I always loved his interviews.

His wife walked into a high end clothing store that I knew people that worked there. She loaded up 1000's of dollars of clothes and walked out. My husband is the University of Oklahoma head coach.
He was drunk at practice daily. Treated people in media like crap. The guys that did his coaches show couldn't stand his drunk arse.
He is known as Howard Smellsofbourbon.

I got down voted. That is fine. Everyone in Norman and OU know the crap he pulled. What I laid out is the tip of the iceberg.

He was 158-151-3 as a head coach. He doesn't meet the winning percentage requirements for induction in the Hall of Fame.

If he hadn't left Miami there is no telling how many MNCs they would of racked up.

He would have won a couple of more at the very least, that's for sure. And I don't understand all the down votes in my OP. The Hall of Fame is quite clear about this in their updated rules. In order for a coach to receive consideration for the College Football Hall of Fame, they should have won at least 60% of their games. Now I'm sure there are exceptions but how many of those exceptions were made before the minimum requirements for induction were updated?
