are you allowed to stop the felony against your person/vehicle? serious question for lawyer types, as banging on your hood and mirrors seems like it would be a felony and a pretty agressive one at that

I beg to differ. You can if you feel your life is in danger. You may need a lot of Money for a good defense attorney, but you’ll be found guitless.
The civil suit is gonna be pricey tho.

If that person is in immediate danger they do.. And who said they would only do it if its legal. I am just saying, you piss off the wrong person and they snap. In that moment they are not thinking about if it is legal or not.
