What are your qualifications for being able to determine how LEOs should do their jobs? Current or former LEO yourself? Any LE training? Play GTA on the Xbox in your momma's house?

I think any person shouldn't be able to criticize the actions of LEOs unless they do at least one ride along with a LEO. Many police departments have ride along programs that allow civilians to accompany police on their patrols and see what their job is really all about (or at least they did pre-COVID). Of course, most of thee programs require that the civilian must have a clean criminal record to participate, so I guess that disqualifies 90% of the bitchers. For the other 10%, what do you have to lose?: its entertaining, you might learn something and, if nothing else, you could spend the time telling the police officers how they should be doing their jobs.

I have a friend of 25+ years that's a police chief and is the head of training for the officers in his parish. I have been in the training sessions.

Next?

So did Alton Sterling, but that didn't stop him from being canonized by the media and Eric Reid.
