I love Dumas' layout.
If they pumped more money into it it could be a fantastic course.

It is a crap hole and in bad location but BR can’t keep losing course, especially in that tier. Most people playing at Santa Maria have no business out there and are blocking up the course

My opinion, they messed up with Beaver Creek. Instead of building it they should have given Dumas a major overhaul. Put in a driving range, improve facilities, improve the course, etc.
Dumas and Santa Maria could have been two top courses. Both could have been brought to a higher status like Beaver Creek is now.
City and Webb each would serve the recreational types. If another course was needed it should have been built on the east side of Airline. Perhaps BREC could have bought Sherwood and not built BC,
Howell was tabbed to be closed, and so should Clark.

No, but if BR still had courses like Fairwood, Briarwood, Shenandoah, Sherwood, etc., they could play a course better suited for their skill level

Players need to know course etiquette. Learning to respect the course and fellow golfers is important.
