Can anyone school me on how to catch one of these if I can see them swimming around the dock light? I'm assuming they are stiped bass due to their size.

They've been absolutely destroying a berkley frittside 5' in a shad pattern Throw in the dark part and reel past the light.

A five foot bait? Wow, I'd like to see the fish that ate that. Did you mean 5"??????

Besides the above recommendations, I'd also try throwing a Heddon Super Spook in bone color (just walk the dog). They should also chew on a white bucktail jig (real it steady 4-5 turns into light and let it fall, repeat).
Make sure you have a large capacity reel spool with a good drag system and a rod with a lot of backbone. The stripers get big over there.
