I did the EDTA oral chelation years ago. I did a lot of cleanup during the Katrina aftermath and wanted to see what kind of effect that might have had on my health. I bought and used a hair testing kit to see what my levels of heavy metals were. I was off the charts in antimony. I did the EDTA for 4 weeks or so, used another hair testing kit (same kind as before), and my antimony was back within acceptable range.
A bunch of malarkey or coincidence? I don't know for sure, but I did have better peace of mind afterward.
