I think the confusion is from the initial story of a leaked straw vote where it was claimed only Iowa and Nebraska wanted to play.
Yeah. That was the story that everybody heard. There must have been a final vote to effectively cancel the season (officially delaying to Spring). If Ohio State just wanted a short delay (which is what the SEC is doing), they should have voted against the majority in the conference. Do you think that what really happened is that Ohio State voted with the majority but now regrets that decision?
