Curse did so well, they want to rebrand Avatar:TLA the exact same way which mean some casting change. White actors are not needed right now for lead roles. They need weak look white actors that does not stand out or look emasculated.

I will say this though: I was always uncomfortable them taking the breadth from months to years potentially ruining the series. The fact that the series takes place over 10 months is where the tension derives from, in that almost no matter what Aang does he will ultimately be drastically underprepared to face the Fire Lord. 4 years as I’m guessing the live action series will go for will just be perceived as a college education and thus ready to take anything on.
