I kind of enjoyed seeing the players have to play from thinned out bunkers with just a veneer of sand.

A little more of a challenge than the usual perfect sandy bunkers they play on tour.

I griped less about our bunkers Sunday.

Phil said it best in the booth "well Jim it is supposed to be a hazard"

So many times these Tour guys aim for the bunkers.

That’s one way to protect the course without making it longer or adjusting the ball...let the bunkers become true hazards again. The staff at Tamahka Trails could give an instructional.

YEP! I'm use to the bunker with just a veneer of sand where you have to fight to get under the ball. Then I played Colonial 2 weeks after their tourney. Huge difference! Couldn't get out of those bunkers they were so soft.
