I worked a sales job for about two weeks once and walked out during a team meeting. Everyone had warned me about the arrogance and general dickheadedness of the owner and his sales manager, but I didn’t think they were being serious.

I was wrong.

The very first meeting I attended he started off by yelling at us for being poor and driving shitty cars. He said that was the reason we couldn’t sell. Then he told us all he wanted us to submit our fingerprints and facial recognition for a new time clock system he was going to be installing to “keep us in line.”

I laughed in his face and walked out.
