I will be moving to the Gulf Breeze/Pensacola Beach area for an internship for the entire football season. I am looking for any ideas for LSU friendly places to watch the games that I don't attend? Or just good places to watch any game for that matter? Thanks in advance.

I think the LSU group in Pensacola meet at Cordova Lanes to watch LSU games

(damn it is sad that I know that)

Couldn't they have started the internship before summer started?

Lanes?? Is it associated with a bowling alley or something? Just curious. Thanks for the input though.

Get in touch with the LSU Local Chapter in P.Cola. There is a very heavy LSU presence there.

If you want to make the drive, head to Destin, FL, we have a huge group over here...

Lucky.

We're right behind you as soon as this house sells. I hope that's a PAID intership. It's expensive to live ON or anywhere NEAR the beach...

If you are going to move to Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola, or Destin, the time is now...realtors are starving, houses have been on the market for years, and offers aren't coming in...you can find a killer home in our area now...ALL TIGERS WELCOME!!!!

(that's great if you are retiring, if you need a job, that is a whole different story...finding a good one here is really hard to do.)

Move to Pensacola Beach in a condo on the bay. I lived there for 3 years and still have friends in and around the area. The deals are unbelievable! I think McGwires (sp??) is a good place but hooters at the beach (the boardwalk) is another good choice.

Hey Bunkie, My cousin owns a restaurant called Jerry's Cajun Cafe just north of Cordova Mall..It is truly outstanding and has a LSU theme to it..Like eating in south Louisiana, very good.....

You are right Jerry's is pretty good. Have not been since they rebuilt after the fire.

I have a couple of friends in Pensacola right now.

They're Buckeye fans though.

I'm staying in Gulf Breeze, its real nce not to have to deal with some of the crap that comes along with Pensacola, plus Navarre beach is 15 mins away and in my opinion far better than Pensacoal beach.

There is a also an Oyster bar on 98 past Wal-mart that is owned and operated by BR natives. They owned a restaurant on Governement St that burned down. It has Tvs and plenty of Tigers gear on the walls.
