I doubt there is language in any of CNN's reporters' contracts that requires them to use those specific words and given there is specific language in the NFL's deal with players prohibiting being in certain kinds of crowds, I would say this is different. That said, if CNN felt like requiring its reporters to say that phrase and the reporters signed a contract agreeing to those terms, then it would be equally legal as the contract the players signed here.

Those "journalists" are given talking points every day. There are YouTube videos which show both local and national "journalists" regurgitating the same exact words and phrases. You really think that's happening organically?
