I didn’t know that, but it doesn’t surprise me. Francona is such a great manager, but is kinda taken for granted at this point. I think he’s the best manager in baseball in last 20 years. Him or Bochy. Both should make the Hall pretty easily imo.

And those 90s Indian teams were really fun to watch. I saw his pic, but nobody has mentioned Carlos Baerga yet. That dude could rake from both sides of the plate in his prime. It seemed to just be a 4-5 years, though, as he fell off a cliff. Had to look it up, but Robbie Alomar didn’t get to Cleveland until ‘99 and only played 3 seasons there. It seems like he was there longer.

I remember him hitting 2 home runs in the same inning in 1993, one from each side of the plate.
