How unfair the penal system is: an interview with a homeless man

This video was recorded more than 5 years ago. The interviewee describes how difficult it is for a felon to try to get back on his feet. If you make one mistake, such as a drug possession, your life is virtually fricked.

Simple answer to that is simple. You've been given a second chance but nobody trusts you til you prove yourself trust worthy and earn the trust back that you forfeited. DON'T FREAKING POSSESS! This yo yo just proved that the criminal justice system was right to convict him the first time.
Drugs have NEVER been a problem for me and my family since we are not weak freaks who can't face reality. Possession is not a mistake, taking the wrong street is a mistake.
