Recently applied for a job at ORNL. Think moving my family to the Knoxville area would be significantly better than up here in Minnesota

ORNL is undergoing a reorganization effort right now. If you check the Careers page you will see a ton of Group leads and Section head jobs. They already have folks in those jobs and they are being forced to reapply for their jobs.

Hardin Valley is the best community in Knoxville in terms of ease of access into Oak Ridge. Great public schools and one of the more affluent areas in the city. Pretty unique in that even though it's a community in Knoxville it's actually faster to get to downtown Oak Ridge than it is to make it to downtown Knoxville.
