Kind of related but I know of two homes being built right now and the price that was quoted for ethernet drops was ridiculous. $75 a drop. I feel like I should open up a side hustle and do them for $40-50 a drop and make out like a bandit.

My electrician charged $30/drop. Still high, but not awful, and I didn't have time to do it. I did decide to only do one drop per location, figuring I could put a switch if I needed more than one.

Is that just pulling wire or does it include finishing up after the sheetrock is up?
