If you're penciling in Jones as a starter, Strong should be as well. Strong probably gets more snaps, actually, since Jones will be utilized primarily in passing situations and against pass-heavy teams. This is assuming, of course, that Strong quickly picks up the defense.

Most downs are passing situations in modern college football.

maybe in a tweener Jacoby Stephens type role, a LB/safety hybrid.
