Hell yeah he does, especially if surveillance video exists proving what he alleges happened or depending on what witness testimony is presented, or even consideration of the past criminal history of the "victim." If the "victim" has an m.o. or armed robberies--especially while armed with a knife--in his criminal history, past criminal offenses could be presented as evidence. Contrary to what many would have us believe in todays society ravaged by white supremacist violence against minorities, dudes that look like Ward aren't usually wandering into New Orleans to violently attack poor innocent black folk.

Are you not aware that he was already convicted? All of this stuff would have come out in his trial and a jury already found him guilty.
